2024 Annual Report Design for ChildsLife — design with meaningful impact
Ambasco designed the 2024 annual report for ChildsLife, an international NGO headquartered in Haarlem. With a visually strong and content-balanced design, we made the impact of their work tangible. The report is clear, transparent and designed with the same attention as any other customer project — because quality and respect for the brand come first, even for charities.

An annual report that goes beyond numbers
Since 1996, ChildsLife has been offering opportunities to children who grow up in poverty, through sustainable help in Africa and Eastern Europe. In 2024, there were again impressive results: from school renovations in Kenya to supporting HIV-positive mothers in Nairobi's slums. But how do you convey that impact in an annual report that is read by donors, companies and funds?
ChildsLife was looking for a design that went beyond a standard report: professional, transparent and visually appealing. No excess, but effective design with attention to content and emotion.

Ambasco's approach
Ambasco designed a clear and accessible report, in which image and text reinforce each other. Each program pillar — Live, Learn, Earn — got a recognisable visual identity, with space for stories, results and photography from the field. Clear typography and a warm, subdued color scheme provided peace and trust.
The design focused on one goal: making ChildsLife's mission tangible. The report not only had to be accountable, but also to convince new supporters of the effectiveness and reliability of the organization.

Quality for good causes
Every year, Ambasco consciously works with up to two charities at a special rate. This enables us to deliver 100% quality — the same attention, creativity and strategic sharpness as with commercial customers. We choose these projects carefully: they must match our vision of sustainability, social equality and long-term impact.
