A powerful and accessible website for AFBE Foundation
AFBE Foundation is affiliated with ABBE-UK, an organization that is committed to greater diversity and inclusion in the technical sector. The Foundation has its own focus on education, mentoring and social projects, and needed an independent website to make its activities, mission and impact more visible.
The website had to be professional and accessible, and visually match the style of the parent organization, without becoming a copy.
An own face for AFBE Foundation within the AFBE family
Ambasco developed a clear, scalable and forward-looking website for AFBE Foundation. In a joint session, we identified the content structure, user goals and visual needs. From there we developed a design that exudes peace, overview and trust — essential for an organization that focuses on education and social impact.
Although AFBE Foundation is part of AFBE-UK, we consciously opted for a distinctive visual interpretation. We developed a subtle color palette of our own, adapted the typography and made space for images that emphasize the human side of their work. This creates a recognisable link with AFBE-UK, but the Foundation clearly stands on its own feet.
The website has been built with an eye for ease of use, for both visitors and administrators. The content is clearly structured, mobile-optimized, and easy to expand with, for example, news, events or donation functionality.

The Foundation now has a professional platform that allows it to clearly communicate its mission and activities to a wide audience.
