The question: increase visibility and attract professionals
In May 2025, Psymens opened a new branch in Almere. For this expansion, the organization is looking for experienced mental health professionals. Ambasco was asked for a visible and activating mupi campaign to design that speaks directly to potential employees — on the street, in the middle of their daily lives.
The design: clear, warm and professional
We developed a poster that finds the right balance between humanity and professionalism. The message is direct and striking: “We are looking for mental health professionals!” — big and red at the top, so that the target group knows what it's about at a glance. With a poster on the street, it is important that we see you what it's about at once. Too much information doesn't work. People walk, cycle or drive in the car in front of you and within a second you want to get your message across.
What do we pay attention to when designing
- Visual: A warm and recognisable photo of a professional talking to a child, who directly communicates the context of youth assistance.
- Use of color: The mupi fits seamlessly with Psymens' corporate identity with a combination of red, orange and white, with bright color accents providing immediate attention.
- Call to action: Clear and accessible, with a QR code that leads directly to the recruitment site: working at.psymenszorggroep.nl
- Location listing: The red circle with “Psymens will open a new branch in May 2025 — Hospitaaldreef 29 Almere” makes the message locally relevant.
Placement and strategy
The mupi's are strategically placed in busy areas in Almere, such as near the station, shopping areas and near educational institutions. This is where the target group moves regularly. By combining physical visibility with a clear online referral, the campaign is both locally-focused as well as measurably effective.
