Ambasco has developed an application to show a sleek inspection list on Augmented Reality glasses using AR technology. By connecting to a database, the right questions automatically come up after being recognized through the eyes of the tanker. The employee is guided through the questions in an intuitive way. Because we have made the application full voice control, including the registration of comments and explanations and the assignments to take photos, the inspections are effortless. An important requirement was that the employee had his or her hands free to hold the handrail when they walk up. In addition to technology, we paid a lot of attention to the user experience and the design of the app, because that is crucial for success.
